1.9 MI16 alloys and brembos

Hi everyone, Does anyone know if 1.9 mi16 alloys will fit over 406 brembo calipers on a 1.9 205 gti please?

I'm pretty certain you will need at least 16" wheels to clear the brembos.

I could be stood corrected though as i'v never actually tried myself

Mi16 alloys certainly won't as they're the wrong offset for a 205 anyway!

Mi16 wheels do fit with spacers, i had a set on my last 205 for a short while.

Wow I didnt realise they would look that good! Im definately gonna fit some to my laser green 205, think im feeling some in dark metalic grey like the griffe! what size spacers did you use?

10mm would put them about right again.

I have a spare set of Mi alloys with good tyres btw!

I think i used 5mm spacers to get them to fit, but 10mm spacers would bring them out to about the same offset as standard gti rims i think. If you do go 5mm+ you'll need to get some longer wheel bolts aswell remember

Thanks baz but ive already got some. i'll probably just go 5mm then as ive got a 309 rear beam, hopefully they should look ok. cheers stu.
