iPod Integration - 03 Renault Megane
Discussion
Hi all, I've got an 03 Renault Megane II Dynamique, it's got the standard Renault/Blaupunkt 'Tuner List' head unit with single CD slot, I'm looking for a way of integrating my iPod (80GB Classic) with my car, ideally I'd be able to plug it in from either the glovebox or in the storage slot under the radio and be able to skip tracks with my fingertip-controls (though this is not a neccessity), sound quality is a big issue too, has anybody had any experience of any kits and could anyone reccommend me one? Thanks

I don't think this is possible with the TunerList radio.
I looked into doing it on my 182 and the concensus seemed to be I needed an UpdateList stereo (2005-on) and the cable could be bought for about £10 off the internet.

Yeah, that's what I thought, went out and purchased a new Griffin iTrip today, not as bad as I thought it was going to be
Oh please...you didn't?I bought the best FM adaptor available (Kensington) at the time of purchase...but it's still crap. I know you told me you don't like the look of aftermarket headunits, but they're the only real answer if you want iPod functionality...hence me buying the Alpine.
Visit your local Renault dealer and check out the Multi function tune point. It provides a 3.5mm jack, usb socket and ipod connection. Single cable will plug n play on tuner list or update list head units. Fits in glovebox or centre console and if using ipod or usb slots it gives full remote control function. I use usb in mine, its the terriers testicles. Cost I think retails about £100inc and takes only a few minutes to fit.
