Good choice - enjoy.

Think they like lots of revs so it would be rude not to.

check cv joint boots as they have a tendancy to go hard come off,
look for grease in the wheels when cleaning !

Mine had 105k on it when I bought it last month and it now has another 2k on it... No obvious mechanical faults and the engine and 'box seem strong!

hi mate i have had a 160 bhp punto gt its was quick but god i had so many probs with it. then i had a s2 escort rs turbo its was a mint car with over 200 bhp but it was getting old and i didnt have a garage to keep it in so i sold it to a mate so i still get to drive it.so the clio its an 02 reg its done 55k and its mint i had a look at 16 of them ,there is plenty of them about so shop around. i paid 4k for it and yeh its fast they do like high reves and they handel like a dream ,iam well happy with it. if it has got big miles but been looked after iam sure u wont have any major probs. good look let me no how u get on.

Took mine over to JMS new premises near Uxbridge on Saturday (http://www.jmstuning.co.uk/)

James and Tom gave it a service and sorted a few niggles for me and mine is now running like a dream!

If you have any questions over service history etc with a high mileage, I would highly recommend giving those boys a visit if you are in the area.

Mine has done about 100 miles of mixed motorway and town driving since then and is averaging 38mpg and still goes like a rocket - LOVE IT!

Mine has done 148k, only replaced stuff through choice rather than need, the gearbox broke but not through misuse or wear but because it was refitted incorrectly. They actually last pretty well eevn with hard-ish use. I still get amazing MPG and the engine still pulls v well. I do change the oil every 5k or so and use only premium fuel. And I wish I was in Scotland with the TV&S ers...
