Clio 172 Very Light Steering

As the thread title suggests really. I’ve just had some work done on my car, and having got it back the steering seems very light, and never weights up even when cornering fairly hard.

I’m not sure if the fact that it has recently had work done on it is in any way connected (nothing was done to the steering/tracking etc, but the brake discs and pads were all changed; if that could possibly cause an issue?), but thought id mention it…

Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be the problem? Looking in the owners manual suggested that the car has variable power steering. I didn’t even realise it had it, but can a fault with this make the steering feel very light?

Any help would be very much appreciated.
