AS above. how the hell do i open the bonnet now?
its a 96 model with 2 catches located to the rear of each headlamp.
help!

Where's the cable snapped? If it's near the lever you can grab it with grips.

If it's not, you'll have to get the cable from the front, it'll come in from one side and actuate both locks. Might have to rip the front grille off frown

If you lie under the front and look up you can see the catches. A long pole is enough to flick either/both of them.

well i'm not too sure its snapped now as i went for the pliers option i think its just not been used in that long that they've seized shut and arent releasing.
i did try looking last night but it was getting dark so i'll try the latter option in a moment.
any other suggestions?

Get someone to pull the lever, quite hard and at the same time, wriggle the bonnet and thump it with the bottom of your fist, without damaging it of course!
