205 1.9 gti oil breathers, and running problem
Discussion
Hello people, i just fitted a new engine to my friends 205 gti, got a piper fast road cam, ported n polished head, and a k+n filter, all runs goot etc but seems very lumpy on tickover even 4 a mild cam, and very rich on tick over, any ideas what that could be??, does anyone know what wire runs the cold start seems if that may be sticking on??? .........
Also the other problem is these oil breathers, is there any way of reducing them and running some sort of oil catch tank as they everywhere lol,??? thanks jeff.......

the cold start I think is down the back fitted to the SAD, maybe the SAD isn't working properly? They are known to pack up. Best look on 205gti drivers forum as a guest to see what this is all about or google it.
You can fit a oil catch can, I have on mine but mines now running carbs so did it out of necessity. But there's no reason not to just ensure you seal any holes up!
