Poorly running Citroen
Discussion
I own a 2005 Citroen C2 and iv had this problem for quite a while.. It seems to run fine for a few miles and then decides to run lumpy and on acceleration there is a pause and then decides it wants to go, It will also stall on the odd occasion too.I'v tried changing the MAP Sensor over with a new one this didn't really help..
I have uprated cams but had these timed and all fitted with new veiner pullies and also had a re-map to sort the fueling out and it was all running fine..
im thinking it could just be a sensor but which one??
I have put it on the diagnostic machine before but nothing shows up as faulty.. Could the cams need re-timing? Im also thinking of changing the MAF Sensor...
Any ideas people

So many things it could be. If the diagnostics showed up as clear, I would suggest the O2 sensor. If it is providing a poor reading, this is not picked up by the diagnostics, but can cause problems.
It might be worth taking it out, and checking visually/cleaning it. If the engine has been running rich, it can get clogged up with soot.
I did mine with some electrical cleaner. That caused the engine management light to come on randomly for about 20 miles, but it has since settled down, and runs better.
A replacement is about £70.
Other than that have you checked for air leaks in the inlet manifold, which will play havoc with the fueling?
Engine/coolant temp sensor is another peugeot/citroen (older models) cause of weird running, and cost about £10.
Most of this was gleaned from google, while trying to fix my 306.
