first car megane dynamique

hi there ive just bought my first car.
its a 51 plate megane dynamique bought for a bargain price of 500 quid.
ive looked all over the internet for tuning parts and carnt find eny.Ive heard that the clio 1.6 16v is the same engine im wondering if enybody can help me with this.ANY advice would be welcome thanks

You won't listen (I know I never did) but don't bother, save the money and put it all away for something quicker later on, just keep it nice, tidy and standard and you might even make some money back on it, then once you've got a year or two no-claims under your belt you can look at getting something with a bit more poke. A 1.6 Megane is never going to set the world on fire, no matter how much money you throw at it.

You could spend 5k over the next few years doing it up, or save that money and probably be able to buy yourself a nice RS Megane.

As I said though, you won't listen, but it's that voice of experience having been there and done that, you'll be in my position in 10 years time lamenting the money you spent on your first car, telling some whippersnapper to be sensible.

I used www.k-tecracing.com when I went through my clio modding phase a few years ago; decent stock and prices (back then, at least).
