Soggy 'S' reg Megane 1.4

Hi there. Girlfriend's new (old) runaround has developed a very soggy carpet under the driver's feet. Is this a common problem/fix? Battery shelf looks OK, but was raining and a bit dark when I checked.

Any suggestions for fix appreciated. Thanks

Check the bulkhead, the drainage channels can get blocked by leafs etc and the water can then come in through air inlets or filters

Thanks, will do. Of course, since she's sprung a leak it has rained incessantly. Ah well.
