206 gti gearbox

Hi all, i have recently experienced some selecting problems on my 180, i only really get the problem on motorway journeys when i have to spend a long time in a traffic jam constantly using the clutch. Even with the clutch fully depressed the gears won't disengage. The gearstick is stuck in position. Has anyone experienced this problem with their 206?

Really thinking about trading in the 180 for a CTR or maybe even a GSi turbo?
