Just wondering really as i've been trying to join the forum there for over a month now but every time i click the register button, i just get a message stating "The board administrator is no longer accepting any new registrations at the moment"

Have emailed the admin of the forum asking about this but have had no reply & was just wondering if anyone on here that uses that forum might be able to ask whether this is going to be resolved or not, as i'm starting a partial rebuild on my 205, that i bought last year, & could really do with being able to use the forum for any help, advice, possibly parts, etc as it clearly the best place for all things 205 gti related

I am and os are many more.
I understand that they aren't taking on any new members at the moment whilst they carry out some maintenance with the site.
It's maintained by one guy who does it all for free.

Many thanks for the replies smile So far haven't hit any major problems (yet) & all is going well (probably jinxed it now), but at least i know if there are any probs i can post up here then in the meantime smile

Currently sorting out a coolant leak & having the engine checked over, compression test, etc to keep it running, (hopefully reliable). Not planning to mod it much other than the replacement K&N filter & full exhaust inc manifold, but really just aiming to tidy the car up & refresh it and have already been sourcing bits like new rear valeo lights, new upper front bumper trim, etc - also just managed to source a near new magnex 4 branch for a bargain price & now on the lookout for a set of Morette headlights to finish the front off smile

Funnily enough i have been viewing posts on the visible parts of the 205 forum since i got the 205 late last year, and have already found a lot of useful posts and info that's helped me out smile Just silly me didn't register earlier

Not a bad thing not getting on the forum as generally when reading it you tend to inherit other peoples problems!!

I know that feeling all too well with my Focus RS lol

Must admit when you look at the projects/rebuild threads on 205 drivers you do start thinking oh maybe i should go the mi-16/gti-6 route if my engine goes, or maybe i should get carbs or throttle bodies & stick with the 8v engine - i must resist the urge to mod the pug other than the basics lol

I am on 205 Gti forum and i heard that they were adding a 'Chav-ometer' to the Registration process,if you register too high on it then you are given the 'no new members' message, if you are fine it lets you register smile
