Head Lamp Wiring Loom

Hey,

New project this weekend (I think). The headlamp wiring loom on my 205 Gti (1989) is rotten, and a previous owner made his/her own mods to it, dreadful state.

I have been given a old headlamp loom to fit. Lots of plugs and clips....I can pretty well see what goes where under the bonnet (one or two spurs going off to things that are not on mine). The plugs that go to the fuse box look straight forward also.

Any thing I should watch out for???

Also, are there many variants off headlamp loom for the 205 GTi? (just worried that once I start, I may find in fact the loom I have is wrong in a subtle but important way!!!)

I think you'll find it's pretty straight forward. Take pictures and make notes as you go along, normally helps if you need to go back a few steps.
