Sell It - Break It - 205

So I'm facing a little bit of a dilemma...
My Clio v6 project should finally complete this year and my current daily driver is a G plated 205 GTi that I restored about 12 months ago. I don't need 2 track type toys (the 205 is full of Group N mounts etc) so I'm looking at getting something boring, modern and warrantied.
Now I pumped a fair amount of time and cash into the 205 doing a bunch of stuff that helped me to learn about cars and I'll, of course, never recoup those costs selling the car but I've a suspicion that breaking the car may be the best way to maximise any cost recovery.
What would you do? Sell It or Break It...
