I had the uneviable task of replacing the nearside brake light bulb on my c4 coupe at the weekend! Anyway, having never had a citroen before, off i toddled to the local discount shop, and asked for advice. Now the fun starts, because to get to the bulb a) you have to be a contortionist and b) you need to have a lot of patience of which i have none! To change this little bleeder, you have to unclip the inner boot lining, reach into the bodywork and disconnect the cluster, then you very carefully prise it loose. After that its simple, but what a ball ache, cant these people make a car thats simple to fix for crying out loud!!!

That sounds pretty easy compared to some modern cars. Can't remember which, think it was a new Avensis, bout you had to remove the headlight to change a bulb, which involved removing part of teh bumper!

I can do those in about 10 minutes, one side (I think it's the o/s) takes a little bit longer because you have to remove the washer bottle neck.
