Hi all, hope you can help me

Im in the process of fitting a tow bar to my 106 quicksilver. (WHY? I hear you ask. I need to tow a few boats around in the next few months, and this was the cheapest option)

Anyhow, I've bolted the bloody thing on now just need to get a wiring diagram. Dont have a haynes manual to hand just yet, is there anywhere on the web where I can find a wiring diagram, or more specifically just for the rear lights?

Cheers in advance, Sam

Sorry mate can't help with a lights wiring diagram however a Haynes manual is definitely a worthwhile investment for any car and has a comprehensive set of wiring diagrams in the back.

However you will find a quiksilver sluggish and underpowered for towing, really you should buy my 106 GTi that's currently on ebay. That way you will be able to mercilessly tug your boats about at a great rate of knots, comfortable in the half leather seats and tunes of your choice through the upgraded sound system wink

ha ha what a great shameless plug for your car! Honestly I have thought long and hard about getting a GTi, and yours is very appealing. But only being 21 and a student until june, money is a big issue at the moment. As for the towing, I will let you know monday evening how it goes. I towed my various dinghies (including a double stacker stacked to the max with 2x lasers 2x windsurfgear and camping gear) for nearly two years with a 51 plate 1.2 clio. Although a tad sluggish it did me proud and kept going. The quicksilver has slightly more poke so I'm hoping it wont be a problem.

Haynes manual has been on order for over two weeks furious Wiring nearly complete!

Cheers

Worth a try, I've got to get rid of the thing as the awesome power is just too much for me so I've decided I want a diesel land rover instead.

Hope you sort out your lights smile
