Clio (2000 1.2) clutch replacment

Hi,
How much should I be paying to get a clutch done on a 2000 1.2 clio. Is this an easy job to do at home?

Autodata list it as a 5hr job so £200+ parts i would say

Getting quotes around the £390 inc vat mark. clutch can be got hold of for around £49-59 depending on make

Might fit it myself if Im feeling brave

We changed a gearboxon one of these and from my recollection the gearbox comes out through the top .
so unless you're
A,strong
B.have an engine crane
C.have some assistance
I wouldn't bother.
It was a tt ,and no i don't want to do another any time this year.Although you might just be able to balance the box far enough out of the way to fit the clutch without taking the box out completely.But don't take my word for it.
