Hia!

Ive got a 2003 Clio 1.4 16v whith different sized tyres front and back.

What should be on it?

I think theyre 185/45/15 on front and 195/50/15 on back

Thanks!!!!

185 55 15 all round mate smile

I'd get it sorted asap as mismatched tyres could potentially be lethal

Yeah it does help that both axel's match. Tyres in that size are pretty cheap. I'm sure you could get a set for around the £120 mark

As long as the rolling radius is similar I wouldnt be too worried.
If the tyre (size) difference is too great it can cause the abs (if fitted) to think theres a problem as the speed sensors will pick it up.

Anybody know the correct size for the 14" steel wheels? Car is on 175/65/14 at the moment but will need four new ones very soon.

Are the tyre sizes you quoted earlier correct?
If so then Im suprised the abs hasnt given you problems!
Theres 28mm difference (just over 5%) in tyre size if youre right.

My mistake, i was working off the top of my head :S

Theyre actually 195/50/15 on the front, and the correct 185/55/15 on rear.

Never had ABS issues but it does seem to have a very twitchy back end, doin 70 on a sweeping motorway and the arse just feels like its about to kick out, like something moves......

I think that might just be the car though because ive changed the rear axle in an attempt to fix that

The fronts are slightly smaller than the rears, though I'd hazard a guess its down to tyre make rather than size.
What have you got on it now? Please dont say woosung ditchfinders...... smile
