Hey,

Most people will probably say use the 205 drivers web site but i thought i'd try here first. I've finally got the money to restore and upgrade my pug. For things like brake and engine upgrades is www.205parts.com a good place to start?

If anybody has recommendations then please advise. Thanks.

I think that 205parts don't trade anymore.

What sort of brake and engine upgrades are you looking for?

Use www.205gtidrivers.comwink

I've got a Phase 1 Graphite Grey 1.9. I'm looking to restore it ( fix windows, heater, electricals, bodywork etc)then upgrade a couple of bits so i can go out on the track so looking at possible engine swaps, 4 pot/big brake conversion. Refurb gearbox, new clutch etc. I was looking for people that might be able to do this as i don't have the means or the knowledge to do the major stuff.

miles is member of the gtidrivers forum and runs/owns pugracing.com and sells a lot of good bits. Think its fair to say he is an authority on all things 205

So does my local scrap yard.

To reiterate what's been said above, get on 205gtidrivers. Lots of sensible advice.

Hi Tim,

Apart from 205drivers site, if you're looking for new parts then GSF are pretty reasonable, there's one just off the A33 on route into Reading. Also Neat Autos http://www.parts4peugeot.com/ although i'm not sure they're still going... anyone know?

I'm based near Reading (Shinfield) so may be able to offer a hand at some stage, most of my spare time is currently prepping my mi16... so a lot of stuff is fresh in my mind!

Hey,

Cheers for all the replies guys. Looks like 205gtidrivers is the way forward.

Hopefully i'll see your pug around Dave as i'm moving back to Earley soon from central Reading, good to know ther's another owner fairly local.

Cheers again.

Good luck with yours too, keep me updated. I've had the pug for 2.5 years now but have only just managed to afford to start treating her right!
