Hi All
Please advise on how to gain access to the spark plugs on a 2002 Clio II 2.0 Sport 172 Cup.
Thanks

No idea (mechanical numpty) but if I was wanting this info I'd search on www.cliosport.net

Bound to be on there somewhere.

Take the plastic cover off then take the inlet manifold off. Then you'll have good access to them smile

Think you'll need to pay for the information now...... (sigh) oh and if you wanted to buy from a registered trader that'll also cost you.

Best bet imo is to go onto Yozza Sports website, and give the owner a bell. Really friendly and helpful and wont cost you a £10 to find it out.

Take off the cheap plastic engine cover then you'll need to remove a section of the inlet manifold (its obvious when you look at it) It's not rocket science so dont worry too much, but make sure you have a replacement gasket.
If I remember correctly a screwdriver, 10mm socket and a couple of torx bits is about all you'll need.
Dont unbolt the throttle body either, just unplug the fly-by-wire and lift the whole lot off.
Make sure your spark plug socket has the grabby rubber insert bit to bring the plugs out as you unscrew them.

Thank's for this information. I will replace the gasket (do not want an air leak , do you know if the gasket is replaced dry or is a sealant used if so what type of sealant. (I will also ask this question when I purchase the gasket)
Cheers
