Tyre Pressures for 205 GTi 1.9

Hiya,

I have replaced the 185 13 Inch tyres with 195 13 Inch Wheels.

What should the tyre pressure be.....I am trying

32 Front
30 Rear

Will this do?

You sure they're 13" rims?

I only ever drove mine on track so would run lower pressures than that (around 25 PSI) but those sound about right to me, an extra 10mm of tyre width wouldn't affect things.

Do you mean 195/50/15 (most likely).

I used to run mine at 28psi all round to good effect.

Open the drivers door and there should be a sticker, near to the catch, showing the recommended pressures.

28psi or 2bar I think.

Thanks, the wheels are the standard alloys (for 1.9) with 195's on them....

I think 28 is a little low. I was told to put more in the front because of the heavy engine on the front wheels????????
