Not mine, belongs to a new colleague of mine. He's spent about a year stripping down and rebuilding his 309 GTi, interesting read if you get the time:

I'd love to find another tidy 309 GTi. Ugly as sin but wonderful to drive.

Just to update, the car was hit by a bus at the weekend and will be written off:

He'd owned it 12 months and spent 10 months rebuilding it frown

Poor car. Looks salvagable though there's a rear quarter pannel on ebay. Failing that you can have my 205 cheap. Have you phoned injury lawyers for you yet? Lol.

Bugger. At least he seems quite jovial about it. Don't think I'd be after 10 months graft!

fking bus drivers. Consistantly the worst standered of driving I see on the roads is from fking bus drivers. wkers.

I dont know how that bloke refrained from giving the bus driver a dam good kicking punch
Had my 2 year old daughter in the back too,her face crying was enough to cool me down when the bus driver was getting a mouth full!!!!!!!!

Shell is knackered, post is pushed in about 3 inches, and steering wheel was not centralized when I drove home, and the bus did not touch either wheels or suspension.
