306 gti 6 Heater problem!

Im new here, so hi everyone!

Just wondering if anyone can help? I have got a Pug 306 gti6 and the heater/AC and fan have stopped working. Checked the fuse which had blown, so put a new one in(same amp/voltage)the fan then worked but was stuck on 1 speed.

Then smoke started coming out from under the centre console, so quickly turned everything off, took the fuse out and it had melted it!

Anyone know what has happened to it? Is it easy to fix?

Hi, there must be a short somewhere. You need to check the wiring mate. Can be time consuming.

Could try the relay (in the fuse box top row 2nd from right i believe) mine has gone several times on me damn french electrics...

i am shore it is the realy because it went on my xsi bt i change the fuse in the car to a lower
power one give that a try it might work
