Anyone got any idea how to go about this??
Is it a big job?

Basically I have an ax and the heater control panel is missing knobs and has fallen back into the dash... is it easy to repair / replace??

Cheers

Nothing on an AX is difficult! Just have some basic tools by and start removing things. The earlier cars up to 1991 are the easiest, think it's two screws. Cables on teh back are the only thing to be aware of, make sure they don't snag on the stereo.

ahhh, is it a dash out job? Or is it a case of remove the control panel?

I don't currently have the car handy, and am debating whether to just go and grab a new unit from a scrappy.... but not sure what tools I'd need??

Nah its not a dash out job. The unit is screwed into the dash. Is it a mk1 or mk2?

You mean the model changed... haha.
But I imagine it's a mk2.
I'll get up the scrappy later then and update this with pics etc.
