does anyone know the process for changing a cambelt on a clio v6?

do you need to take the engine out?

Head over to www.v6Clio.net where all will be revealed but in summary yes under normal circumstancs and you need to make sure that the water pump is replaced at the same time. Typically looking at £700+ from a main dealer for this work.

Can be done with the motor left in...but it's not easy.

approx 1k for the job, inc clutch, pump and other gubbins your looking at 1300+

SGmotorsport or Carlon are excellent specialists for the cliov6.

Just use it as a bargaining point - should be done @ 60k or 3 years btw. The 2 independants mentioned above Carlton and SG Motorsport are the best option, full stop, for work on these cars.
