Friend bought a 206 and found a few faults...any ideas?

A friend bought a 1998 Peugeot 206 with about 80k on the clock (unfortunately without me!, otherwise I would have picked up on the following)

1) The gearbox is like porridge and fails to spring back, is this the gear linkage? any ideas on a fitted price? - or can it easily be fixed without jacking the car up?

2) It has a panoramic sunroof which was apparently working when she bought the car, but upon pressing the button, it just buzzes and does nothing - any ideas?

3) Squeaking noise from rear left suspension when driving - shock?

1) Likely to be one or both of the springs on the gear linkage. Easy and cheap to replace on most cars (once its up on a ramp)- not sure about a 206.
2) Could just be a bit sticky - give it a gentle helping push when you push the button.
3) Could also be a bush? Not worth worring about until MOT time unless it gets a lot worse IMO.
