Evening, anyone know if GSF or EuroCP sell these? I've managed to bend one and could really do with a replacment PDQ.

If anyone knows or can suggest another, can you PM me?

Thanks all

Dont think you can buy the stub axle on its own without the complete arm How about a scapyard! These stubs just knock out some citroens use the same axle so theres a good chance you will get one

pretty sure there the same as a citreon saxo and pug 106, had to take mine off my 309 axle when i was refurbishing it, it was THE BIGGEST pain in the arse in my experience to get em out. oxy-acet torch helped alot but whether the scrappy will let u take that in...

where abouts in the country are you based?

there's a company in devon called r mountjoy engineering/ ssp engineering (same company cant remba wot name they use) absolute guru with torsion bar assemblies mate, he actually manufactures alot of the parts in house and sells them to the peugeot dealer down the road cos they dont stock the parts.

website is...

you can buy them from what was peugeot sport:
http://www.specialtuninguk.co.uk/acatalog/Rear_Stu...

they also do 1600cc drum version and the suitable 106 versions too, some of which are the same parts as the 205 versions.
at the very least the part numbers on there will let you see which ones are similar and help you on your scrap yard hunt. any i have removed in the past have simply been knocked out with the use of a hammer, not as seized in as a torsion bar.

Afternoon all.

Having spoken to some 1.6gti drivers who have converted their drums to discs on the back, they told me that you can use a Diesel or 1.6 rear stub inplace of the 1.9, so i went to the scrap yard with a couple of mates and some hammers and came back with a one, it flew out really easily in all honesty but went in very tight when we did the transplant. She's fully back on the road and my bent stub axel is now being paraded around the hall of shame (local peugeot mechanics I know) as one of the worst they have ever seen! I'll get a picture of it on here when I get the chance one evening.

If anyone sees a white 1.9, with nothin in the back, black front wings and a primered valence flying around south hampshire, that's me! Looks fantastic! (It's like Marmite, you love it because it's just so blatently rally or you hate it because it looks like it should be in a scrap yard!)

I'll check the websites out on the thread as i'm sure there will be things i'm after there anyway.

Cheers guys, going to bunk off work for the rest of the day now to go play cars ect........
