I have recently just bought a citreon c2 GT... its fairly nippy but want to make it faster... if i mod it i know it will depreciate more and as i got it at a bargin i would like to still make money on it when i go to sell, just seeing if there are any ideas of mods i can do which could be swapped back to the standard parts when i go to sell??? only thing i can think of is an enclosed induction kit which will add about 5BHP...

Those TUs are supposed to respond really well to breathing mods, thats induction kit, manifold and exhaust. All of which can be easily swapped back when you're done with it.

The C2s have TU engines? Never realised that.
If so, they do take reasonably well to an enclosed induction kit, manifold and exhaust, yes, and they can be swapped back easily, as said. A set of cams would also up the power quite happily, paired with a remap, and could be swapped back to standard, albeit with considerably more work.smile

Try and source a C2 VTS head on ebay or something. The C2 1.6 16v 110bhp lump is in essence a Saxo VTS 120bhp engine, just de-tuned....except in the 125bhp C2 VTS where it has bigger valves. That's the best way to get more air in. Sell the car as a standard one....the parts look the same, only yours will go better than the others your perspective buyer will test drive!

C2 VTS heads are already doing the rounds as the Saxo boys are bolting them to their VTS's!
