Theres a couple of people trying to get something sorted about the shocking quality of the RS wheel and they need as many people with similar problems to get there name down.

Cheers.

Nice one Polarbert.

Mine names already down.

As said, the quality of the RS steering wheels is complete rubbish. They melt, and wear easily.

If you've not seen one....take a look.

I don't see the need for carbon thumb grips though. I'm quite happy with the ones supplied but I'd like them not to fall apart after a few years light use. They shouldn't do that.

Yeah, the carbon ones look ok.

These's another guy on there who's made some ot of fibreglass. He painted them silver, but if they are painted the right colour they can look quite OEM.

Either way though, they'll last longer than most original thumbgrips.

Mine are actually completed fine after a few years and 35k miles.

Just annoying that the steering wheel itself is fking up. Stupid French cars.

I bet if you asked the French to make a white flag it would be the best in the world.

Might be worth pointing out that MarkCups 172cup (pics above) are after 100k.

Mine is slightly melted after 35k.

Yeah, ha. MarkCup's steering wheel is worse case scenario. smile

We'll have to see what happens through ClioSport. I think there's about 160 with problems now.
All be it; not as bad as above.
