The release fork has cracked, how do I remove and replace this part?

Moreover, where can I get one of these!?

You have to remove the cable arm on the outside of the bellhousing (by extracting the pin that holds it to the fork assembly), then the fork assembly can be manoeuvered out. You might also have to remove the plastic bushes at the top and bottom of the bellhousing to give you the 'play' you need.

Regarding a replacement, it should be the same part on every MA gearboxed Peugeot or Citroen so you shouldn't have a problem finding one in a breakers. If it comes to it, a brand new one from Peugeot is £71.66 including VAT.
