I just picked up a Clio 197 F1, which I'll be using as a kind of run around second car to save me racking up too many miles on my other beast.

It's coming up to a year old in September and I was wondering whether this car needs to be serviced annually, or whether it goes on mileage? Even if it doesn't have to be serviced at 12 months, I'll still get the oil and filter changed, but I was just curious as to what the "official" service intervals are.

Only had it a few hours, but it seems like a great little car, with the Recaros and Liquid Yellow paint job being instant highlights.

Any helpful info on things to check/look out for would be most appreciated smile

Did they not give you a manual?

FWIW the previous generation RS Clios' (172/182) are every 12 months or 12k miles.

Of course - but the manual is out in the car, and I'm sitting at my desk, so I thought I'd ask smile

Try cliosport.net or the renaultsport forum. I expect that info will be listed somewhere on those sites.
