Mi16 oil filter

Are these the same as the 205 GTi 1.9 8v oil filter? I have a couple of spares and it would be cool if I could use them up. Externally they look the same.

I will begin fitting my Mi16 engine next month after my next trackday on the 15th July at Oulton Park.
Still need a pair of 45mm carbs (preferably Dellorttos) for when the time comes if anyone knows of any going cheap.

I've already got twin 40 Dellortos on my 8valve (which I will be getting rid of once I do the Mi16 conversion). Still trying to find a reasonably price pair of 45's TBH.

ah ok, i was gonna say, 40's probably arent big enough for an mi16? and might be restrictive on the top end?

Would be nice but kind of goes against the ethos of a budget track day car - I'm already shocked at some of the prices asked for some carbs.

i see what your saying. have you got teh standard mi16 managment stuff cos its really not that bad.

The engine I got is missing the fuel rail and injectors although I have the ECU. being as I already run carbs I already have the manifold and fuel pump required, just need the dam carbs!
