Has anyone found a reasonable tuning establishment in Hampshire/Sussex/Dorset that can set up a cammed XU9JA engine on JE2 Jetronic injection?

Seems to be a few guys on here running them as track cars so i guess there must be some pretty good places around somewere? I'm looking for balls out power, it's only going to be used on sunny weekends as a road car so efficiency is not a factor regardless of fuel costs (I'm definatly going to regret saying that one day when fuel hits £1.50 a litre hehe)
Cheers guys!

http://www.xsportracing.com/ would be your best bet.

However, there really isn't anything that you can do to improve performance on the Jetronic system - the best you can hope for is to getting running properly. In fact spending any money on the 8v is a total false economy. Just install an MI16/GTi-6/XU10 Turbo engine. Far better, reliable results for far less money.

Agreed, GTI6 engine is planned to be installed over the winter however the amount of time and effort put into the 8V already really means that i need to get some use out of it over the summer. It runs well but the mixture is well off, i've had a look but without the diagnostic equipment i've got no chance.

Will have a look at Xsport and go from there.

Cheers mate.

XSport have moved from Totton to very posh new premises in Basingstoke. Miles at Pug Racing's based near Fordinbridge and has done countless stunning MI conversions; absolute genius with 205's.
