where are all the renault 5 gt turbos on here
Discussion
They seem to have moved on from the GTT a bit. They still often have engines in there, but they do a lot of Turbocharging on the 16V Renault engines now.
Only this morning they had a white Clio (200bhp...whatever sort that is?) and the guy told me it would probably end up with a turbo on it.

The OP may want to remove his personal email addy from his post - luckily this site has a private message facility so you don't have to expose your email to over a million viewers, some of which undoubtedly will be spammers/scammers...

Must be the 'new' RenaultSport Clio 197 then. They reckon they do 'easy' 300 brake engines that'll go on forever with the Renault 16v.

Not sure, it was a spanking new car though, with black alloys.

That'll be the 197 then. While 197 bhp in a production Clio (not being the V6 which was basically a mid-engined junior supercar in a wide-arched Clio shell) may sound ample, the truth is that the thing weighs as much as my Saab 900 Turbo and doesn't have all that much get up and go in the low/midrange, so turbo'ing one isn't as outrageous as it sounds...They reckon they do 'easy' 300 brake engines that'll go on forever with the Renault 16v.
I didn't help with the lack of gt turbos left. I had four.
1st low milage pearl white car i drove every day for 3 years or so, started standard and finished with around 200bhp, clean on the top but cills went very bady and ended up going to france.
2nd was a silver one which had been chaved up - broke for spares to keep the first one on the road.
3rd was black bought very cheap as the bodywork wasn't great but flew, took the hybrid and stainless steel exhaust off for the 1st car and sold to a guy who tried to drive it home with no turbo on, It left my house on a tow rope but it would appear he got board!
4th was another pearl white car which i broke for spares to keep the 1st car on the road.
Trouble was Renault parts were very expencive and a ruff car could be bought for around £100-200.
great cars though, and good standard examples seam to be selling for good money.
