Does anyone have one of these - if so what mpg do you get?
I'm trying to persuade my brother to get one, he's a little concerned about running costs.
Thanks, Tony
Why, just out of interest? When I drove one I didn't like it, it was quite dull to drive.I'm trying to persuade my brother to get one, he's a little concerned about running costs.

I've had one for the last 3 years and have averaged 35mpg. Generally the main criticism I would have is around the poor throttle response (same as a lot of new cars). It could also do with a bit more power and better steering feel. It handles well enough for a relatively tall car and I do think the chasis is very good. Cheap insurance to boot and 20k service intervals.
We have a by leob on C.Hire costing us around £90 a mounth for a 2 year 10K contract. We have had ours for a little over a year now.
The car is going well. The only complaint is that it likes a drink its been driven mostly by a very slow easy driver and its sitting at 33MPG.
I get better fuel consumption from my BMW Z4C 3.0si than the C2. The main problem is that at say 80mph its pulling over 4K revs! Oh and for the first 2/3K miles we managed to make 29/30MPG.

I have a c2 GT, pretty similar apart from the VTS is a bit quicker and has more luxurys like air con. IMO its a nice little motor, doesnt gulp petrol, pretty nippy and looks well. I find that it was the best value for my budget as most other cars are less equiped in terms of power and kit.
