205 gti ridgid brake pipes

Anyone know were to get pre-made brake lines from? The front lines are knackered and one kinked whilst replacing the flexis. I don't fancy making them up as i did it for my mates mk2 golf and it took me 2 days to re-pipe it, can't be bothered with the hassel. Any suggestions would be great.
Working between Leatherhead and Southampton for the next 2 weeks so the general Leatherhead, A3, Southampton region would be good news for collection purposes.

You can get the front pipes from Peugeot. £13 for the short one. £15 for the long one. That's quite expensive for a bit of copper pipe, but they'll be the right length and hassle free. Part numbers are 4803 E4 and 4803 45.
Your local motorfactor should be able to make them up for less cash, but they'll need to know exact lengths etc.

Thanks mate, had a word with my mate at Peugeot this afternoon and he confirmed prices and availability. TBH, i was under the impression that brake pipes would be stupidly expensive from Pug but obviously not. Ordered a full set so it'll be another busy weekend of getting stressed with seized on parts! Hey Ho, nearly finished....

Kind of related, when I was "restoring" my 205 GTi I rapidly came to the conclusion that the main dealer is nearly always worth checking for bits and pieces. I saved a not inconsiderable amount of money going straight to them rather than buying off the Bay or some of the other well known independents.You can get the right part numbers either by registering for ServiceBox (which I must admit never seems to work for me) or try www.stuartmcguire.co.uk/pug for a drill down view of the parts.
Yeah, I'm completely rebuilding my 1.6 at the moment. I've bought masses of parts from the dealer. Sometimes the prices are ridiculous (lower arm: ~£330 IIRC) but most aren't very much more than you'll find at the local factors and the quality is infinitely better. Genuine rear dampers, for example, are ~£35 and are really good and much better than anything you'll find elsewhere short of expensive Bilsteins or Proflex!

I have had a lot of parts from Peugeot over the last 18 months of the project but mainly little bits, nuts, bolts, screws ect... which are worth changing whilst your there but larger items have always come out as expensive.
The flip side is that they seem to be able to get all kinds of parts like the full suspension top mount assembly which i needed 2 of, cost £116 inc Vat but everywere else i went told me to jog on.

Sounds about right, my local dealer found me an original Turbo 16 spoiler in a lock up somewere after a stock check but when he went on the system to look up the cost, if was just shy of £200 + Vat and that was with a discount for getting rid of it... needless to say i don't own a Turbo 16 spoiler...
