Electric window regulators!

Evening all,

I've just picked up the good lady's 04 plate Renault Megane from its service and I'm told the passenger window regulator is gone - that'll be £400 sir.

Now 6 months ago this issue appeared on one of the rear windows!! It's really becoming quite a pricey little shopping trolley that one.

What is going on - do we have a lemon?
Or is it just true what they say about French car + electrics??

Its not the electrics! The cables corrode and snap But comes as a complete unit motor etc

If the window hasn`t dropped into the door then most likely is the little control unit on the regulator. Not available seperately, only comes with the complete mechanism. Just shy of £200 for parts and just over an hours labour. I may have a control if you want, let me know.
