Need a bit of help...

Currently have a clio 182 cup, drove to work yesterday morning. I was putting the heaters on and it cut out. Now the heaters do not work regardless how hot/cold I set it at.
What do you think it could be? I want to try and avoid a hefty bill by taking it into renault so any suggestions would be appreciated!

Cheers
Craig

What cut out? The whole car i.e. it stopped or the heater? When you say the heater(s) don't work do you mean that regardless of where you turn the fan speed control to nothing happens?

Look in the owners manual for the fuse box location (normally passenger side, open the door and look towards the bottom of the dashboard for a flap) and check the fuse. It may be a simple case that the fuse has blown and replacing it with one of exactly the same rating solves the problem.

Of course if the fuse has blown you should in theory find out why and if blows immediately after replacing it then clearly you've got a more significant problem; possibly the heater fan or the resistor pack that controls the different fan speeds.
