172/182 Back Brakes

I've decided that these could do with beefing up a bit, especially as come MOT time they are always a bone on contention with the Cup.

Any suggestions for a good disc/pad combo that utilises the standard callipers, or if a reasonable disc size upgrade is available?

The bone of contention is down to the ABS delete on the Cup though. Not sure if upgrading anything will help or not. Besides the rear brakes do all anyway (as the MOT tester knows!)

Print it off and give it to the tester if they fail your car

Been carrying a copy since it failed it's first MOT last year

I was thinking potentially of changing the brake bias to go with the upgraded brakes, as it can get a little messy out on track at times when there is more braking at the front than there is weight shifted there.

Rear brakes don't really do that much, so not worth chaning the discs.

Stock Renault parts are fine, same with the pads.

If yon change the discs mate get them from renault These come complete with wheel bearings and ABS rings If not you have got a lot more work and the proper parts work out cheaper and easyer to fit

What I'm looking into though is the idea of shifting the braking balance, as while under heavy braking there is little weight on the rear I still feel that there is too little braking - perhaps by changing the balance to put a few % more at the rear there would be greater braking and more control?...
