Renault Scenic 53 Plate - Parking Brake Failure -Please Help

Hi all

When driving the car now flashes up on the dash, "Check Injection" it then beeps and then flashes up "Parking Break Failure". The car then jolts forward and i lose all use of the gas pedal. I then have to stop and restart the car.

It will do this randomly and did it 5 times on a round trip to Leeds.

It also does NOT come up on a diagnostics test.

Please help, any suggestions?

i know its going to sound stupid , but have you tried pulling the battery for an hour or 2 ? disconnecting it may clear the faults as it resets the ecu to a degree . im gussing its the newer shape scenic , good cars , loved the one i had .
