205 gti competition seat fitting

what is the best way of fitting a competition seat to a 205 gti? i have stripped the interior out completely. do i need a subframe and sidemounts or just the side mounts, do these fit in the holes left from the sliders for the original seats? can a base mounted seat be fitted directly to the subframe? help!.. anyone who has fitted competition seats sparco et al to their 205? what did you use?

ive bolted my cobra seats straight onto the sliders. The XL size ones fit perfectly but mine are the skinny bastard size so i had to use a 3 inch wide plate and bolt one side to the slider and teh other to the seats side mount.

Other than that, pull everything out and have some box section welded into you floor between the sill and exhaust tunnel.
