Ph1 clio 172 or a Williams...
Discussion
I guess it depends on what you want it for. If the answer is "everyday motoring" then go 172. If "something for the weekend", then look for a Williams. Remember that the youngest Williams is 11 years old, so many of them have high mileages and those that don't are begining to command a premium.
I love my Williams, but it is quite a different drive from the 172, which has significantly more urge, if a little less delicacy and of course none of the legendary pedigree. I can't see the 172 becoming a legend, whereas the Williams already is one...

see i love the williams because of its looks (the chunkiness), and the fact that its known as an old skool hot hatch that old and young can appreciate.. but i do a fair bit of mileage..back and forth to the girlfriends and holidays etc...so that how my car now has become too expensive (bloody women!!) so thats why i was teatering more to the side of the 172...
I'll echo what mattiselvis said - depends what you use it for. I love the Williams but I would'nt consider one as my only car; just getting too long in the tooth.
172's are wicked little cars. Perfectly good for a bit of b-road blasting on the weekend
Your Lancia looks pretty cool btw. Never seen one of them before.
