Hey all

Have posted on 205gtidrivers.com but i need a reply tonight. My brakes are very dodgy at the moment, i have just got braided hoses but want to get a new master cylinder to fit at the same time.

There are two on GSF car parts, 19mm or 20.6mm? Im guessing the 19mm one?

Cheers

Is it worth getting the larger size as im hoping to upgrade to 4 pots over summer? Or jus get the standard size for my current setup?

not sure on the size, but my current one is off a 306 S16, a good upgrade for bigger brakes but should be fine with the standard ones too.

20.6mm is standard.
I have one with 206GTI180 brake set up like Sorrento.

i am doing the 307 conversion. would not bother with four pots really, the car weighs bugger all in the first place... i know some racers at combe use the standard set up just with gucci pads...

307 set up works well. THe standard M/C is up to the job but you'll get longer travel. I did buy a 405 22.2mm (I think and not 406) MC that should have worked but it required pissing about with adjusting something on the servo and I couldn't be bothered with taking it all apart again especially as I'd fitted a brand new 20.6mm one.

You get used to the travel and the brakes are fantastic.

Just got to replace all the rear copper now..........
