I have a Series 2 Lotus Elise 111S and wanted a vaguely sensible car for my new commute which will be 40 mins each way instead of the 5 it is currently. (due to office Move) I couldn't let my beloved Elise go, so i thought i'd get a hot hatch for £5-6K. blabla

Having wasted two weekends looking at Mk4 Golf GTI 1.8T's and decideing that even with a remap, suspension mods and the like it's still a heavy old car. scratchchin

I had a moment of clarity. idea

2003 Renault Sport Clio 172, in Iceberg Silver. bow

What a result, this little car make's me grin like an idiot whem i'm driving it (much like the Lotus). But it's got such a character, it's a great car! I'd not driven a French motor for years and I have to say the fit and finish isn't half bad. thumbup

It's got T.C. E.B.D. A.B.S. E.S.P. and C.C. (beginning to sound like an eye exam here!.....)

I'm so pleased i didn't get the VW cloud9 I'm looking forward to many many happy miles in the new clio.
It's a lot of car for the money, but I suspect I may be preaching to the converted?! driving

As per my topic, all Clio IIs must now have their bonnets checked.
