Anybody no what was differant on th saxo vts engines that produced 130bhp compared to the standard 120bhp any help will mucho appreciated

No difference. Some people reckon the "2 prong" ones (the block casting was changed for prongs that the EGR valve on very late models have) are 130bhp. In reality, as with most mass-produced engines, some are just a bit stronger than others, and on a good day on optimistic rollers might make 130.

Except for the block having that minor revision, all other bits are exactly the same.

agree with the above. some engines produce a few more, some a few less. there are no 'special' engines.

Wow, im really suprised by that. 10 BHP is a pritty big difference considering nothing is different.

The difference probably isn't as much as 10 hp though. I suspect they are all within about 5 hp of each other and the rest is a result of dyno's exagerating transmission losses for higher flywheel power figures, which doesn't really do anyone any favours!

There is no 130bhp VTS. Thats why there is little differnce between them
