My Barquette Hommell
Discussion
Hello,
I'm French but I'm the owner of a French car that could be an English one, because it was built for people who really love cars. It's called a Barquette Hommell.
Hommell cars were built by Michel Hommell, the founder of sports cars newspapers and owner of a beautiful car museum in Loheac, a village of the west of France.
25O Hommell were built between 1994 and 2003, including 50 "Barquette", the roof less model. Mine is the first Barquette, the chassis number 001, and I realy enjoy driving it.
It has a Peugeot 306 S16 engine and a specific Gearbox.

I'm happy to read that you already know Hommell because even in France, very few people know those cars.
Hommell are very rare cars but you can be sure to meet some of them when you go to Loheac. I don't live very far from Loheac and I often go there to drive my car on the track. And the factory is still open so to is possible to meet people who conceived the car !
