Hi all,

I am picking up a 206 Gti 180 on Saturday afternoon, I have had a look around in Scotland, and there doesn't seem to be many bolt-on mods. Are these hard to tune or just not popular for it? I have had a mail from one tuner really only offering de-cat and induction kit, throttle bodies or supercharger. I was thinking more of an in-between solution. (manifold/exhaust/remap)

Sorry for the long post! Any advice would be helpful, preferably pointing to Scottish tuners or mail order.

Thanks

Congrats on the purchase, as you'll see from my other 'Hot' thread thats what i was originally after.

As far as i know one of the best/well known/biggest tuners in Scotland is Ecosse Peugeot. They arent always the cheapest but their work is good quality. I've had parts from them in the past and found them to be really good...

Cheers! I have mailed hem and they got back to me, didn't seem to have the usual massive range as they do for uning other cars in the range.

I'll probably ask more pertinent questions next time!

I saw you went for the Clio, that was another possibility for me too! The 206 just ticked more comfort boxes!
Are you still enjoing it?

Yeh i went for the Clio in the end because it was the purest 'Drivers' car out of everything i drove. Yes the 206 has better seats and has more comforts and is probably better on longer journeys etc.

Having come from a TVR i wanted something raw and unedited, and the Clio fitted the bill perfectly. I can live without stuff like aircon and abs/traction control.

Your 206 wouldnt be a black one that i spotted for sale up in Scotland with only about 10k on the clock would it? If i'd have gone for a 206 it would have had to have been black !!

Hey Hey !

Another loner strayed from the Clio fold.

You won't be disappointed with the 180, and you wont need a baseball cap!

A good place to ask any questions re. modding etc. would be www.peugeot206gti180.co.uk/

A word to the wise. Watch those alloys!

Lofty.

"A word to the wise. Watch those alloys!"

Already got a nick in them! 3 days!

I got a blue one, to be honest that was the only colour for me! I had a Blaze 106 before, i like the more 'interestng' colours!

I'll try that website too, thanks!
