106 xsi front pipe
Discussion
Hi I have a '93 Pug 106xsi with 69000 on the clock.
The front pipe has cracked at the manifold flange, but as far as I know it is the original Peugeot pipe and the Lambda Sensor is near the flange connection to the Catalyst.
One well known spares company sold me a replacement (with ALL the required info given to them ) for nearly £60,yes, it arrived without a boss for the Lambda Sensor ! Was told they would have to source the correct one and it would cost about £80.
Found another one for less than half the price but the boss is just under the manifold but supposedly copied from an original !
Does anybody know for certain which end of the pipe the boss should because if it should be at the manifold ( in front of engine block ) all the wiring will need re-routing and maybe extending.
Cheers

Have posted on their forum so see what happens
XSi is great fun indeed, especially when the boss is not there to so how low, fast and noisy it is !
Only use it as a run about, have to spend most of my driving time behind the wheel of a Focus or Fiesta or Mondeo or such like but the Audi A3 TDI I had for three days was fun
Cheers
