Hi all !

The 106 failed its MOT yesterday on high emissions - we've looked into it, and there are no fault codes, and everyting seems to be working as it should. I pretty much had the engine in bits trying to figure it out, with little success. confused

Does anyone have any ideas at all, before I pull the rest of my hair out ??? weeping

Cheers guys !!

As far as I know yes. It spends most of it's life in the shed rolleyes so doesn't get used that much. I've peered down the pipe, and it all looks clean and intact, and there's no rattling from it.

I do have a BMC CDA airbox on it, and as such there are a couple of breather/vacuum pipes that no longer have anything to attach to - could this have anything to do with it ?

Maybe there is a problem with the Lambda then, it may not be showing up as a problem on the diagnostics but could be giving out a wrong signal somewhere.

We did wonder about that as where it was located on the new manifold, it was only reading off No. 2, but I've relocated it further back so its reading off all 4. The sensor was replaced last year, but its not a genuine Peugeot part - I've heard that non genuine ones can be unreliable ?
