I wonder if you can buy those front 'spoiler' bits from anywhere? Need some for my 205...

Great photos The yellow T16 in the first picture above was Paris - Dakar spec. Longer wheelbase to make more room for a bigger fuel tank.

If you can, try to track down a copy of "Peugeot 205 : The Story of a challenge". It was written by Jean Todt (current Ferrari F1 team manager) when he was head of Peugeot motorsport. A really interesting book and an inside look at the development of the 205 T16.

A good video of T16's in action - www.youtube.com/watch?v=fOTJ2FQGd4E

thaks guys these are some great pics do you know if there is any dvds of these cars avalible on featuring the cars above its not often you see them in action especialy the t 16 think they are getting quite rare now, i have only ever seen one at the peugeot sport club meet in 2005 but sadly it wasn't there this year and missed catching it on video camera

the early cars do sound the best and they look so much more than the cars they are based on unlike todays rally cars i seen those clips on youtube i just can't get over how close the spectators are to the cars i think you must be mad to stand that close to the track when a 500 bhp pug is flying up towards the crowd, you can see why they they put so much control over the cars but now that they have got the crowd control much tighter i think its about time we started to see much better rally machines being made with limited numbers being produced for road use, has any body thought about making there own mid engined 205 but with a spaceframed chassis or has any body seen this sort of thing done
