Have you got any idea why my 205 gti will miss fire when it is cold, it only does it for bout 15 secs when i first start it.

I can only think it can be the coolant temp sensor or air flow meter.

cheers

I did'nt think any of them fired cleanly first thing (mine does'nt).

If it lasted any longer it could be damp getting into the HT leads.

Tis a "feature" of the breed. Have tried many (many many many!) things but nothing makes it go away, although some cars are worse than others. My 309 doesn't do it at all (pretty much everything original) yet my 205 with new almost everything does (as do most 205s that I've been in).

Mine does this every now and then, it clears up after a few seconds, so I haven't been worrying about it.

My 8V used to do that all the time, like mentioned it's just a trait.
